Seven souvenirs have been prepared by the Thai government for presentation to leaders and their spouses during the APEC Summit, taking place on November 18th and 19th at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok.

 

The souvenirs showcase Thai uniqueness, the concept of environmental conservation and new opportunities under the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economic model. They include:

 

-An engraved image of the Grand Palace made from recycled metal. It has a Royal Barge in the foreground and the APEC 2022 logo in the background. It was produced by the Wat Sri Suphan community in Chiang Mai Province.

Really wish someone could explain why spouses have to attend work conferences and get free gifts. Pretty sure in my last job when I travelled for work if I asked for my wife to come with me on a freebie and could they give her some free gifts they would say get knotted you scrounger. But these people know know limits

Hopefully the members will also take the soap, shampoo, and at least one towel from the hotel they'll be staying as a momento also.
