Hong Kong leader John Lee Ka-chiu has tested positive for Covid-19 after returning from a trip to Thailand for a high-level regional trade summit.

The government on Monday said Lee’s polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test result was positive at Hong Kong International Airport upon arrival on Sunday night after he attended the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) summit in Bangkok. His flight landed at 9.30pm.

“He is now being isolated in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection [CHP] of the Department of Health,” a government spokesman said. “His rapid antigen tests conducted during his four-day visit to Bangkok were negative.”

You can bet your last yuan that Xi will never publicly admit to having Covid.

No way will he go into a quarantine hotel.

And according to CCP Covid protocols, All people in contact with Lee should also quarantine.

An interesting conundrum.

An interesting conundrum of which I couldn't give a toss.????????

Yep, I think the reality is that there won't be any Chinese tourists for years.

Not sure about that.... starting to see them around..... well to be more exact hear them! You know how they have to shout to each other at a 2 foot distance!
