Stop Complaining
Even when we lived in the village, I was able to function on my own, never 'needing' my Thai wife with me to do anything - she was helpful in teaching me about social customs in the village, but in town, I was more capable especially when dealing with most official projects. When we moved up to the CM area, I was so happy to hire an agent to complete all the paperwork I had to do every year and then find out that they wanted a different color background for the photo etc... I love having an agent to deal with all the paperwork and appointments and know that everything is properly prepared. I spend no more than 5 minutes at the Immigration office... -

My view today.
What are you talking about exactly? I was replying to Harris Fan who has now resorted to duplicating his posts to keep up his game of accumulating posts because he thinks the count is important and often brags about "winning the day" due to his voluminous output. He posts a constant stream of drivel, and the duplication is a new low. And you think I care about numbers? I have averaged just over one post a day since I joined. Harris drivel is more than 60 posts a day. If you want to read pointless duplicates then good for you. -

Report Temple Highlights Bangkok's Vulnerability to Rising Sea Levels
From the article: "Bangkok's land subsides at about one to two centimetres annually, while sea levels rise by approximately 5.8 centimetres each year. These concerning trends indicate a potential for significant flooding in Bangkok and Samut Prakan by 2050." Land subsidence is often confused with sea-level rise, but this claim of '5.8 centimetres per year' of sea level rise, cannot be a result of climate change. 5.8 centimetres is 58 mm. A search on the internet reveals that the current rate of sea-level rise, globally, is around 3.6mm per year, which is 0.36 centimetres. If we add the claimed 1-2 centimetres of land subsidence (say 1.5 centimetres) to the claimed 5.8 centimetre sea-level rise, we get an apparent rise of 73mm per year. Subtract the global estimate of 3.6mm per year of sea-level rise and the result is 69.3mm per year due to land subsidence. This is not a problem that can be fixed by reducing CO2 emissions. 🤣 -

Looking for Affordable ED Visa School – 2nd Time Applying (Need Cheaper Option)
Multiple reports of people getting hassled at on their 2nd entry with METV if they did the 60+30 and left and returned. A tourist is a tourist, whether you are visa exempt or tourist visa, and immigration does not like serial tourist entries. -
