Apart from the weird cloudy foamy water I was swimming with plastic bags and toilet paper. Had a nasty ear infection for a week and scratching my skin for days. Top 2 beaches in the world? Not even close but it is a decent beach the last few years and definitely is no longer an eyesore. As for the water quality, I don't have a clue nor care. I rarely swim and even if I did, it would be inconsequential IMO. Some people will always find a reason to bash anything because they need to feel important. I'm a happy fool that enjoys Pattaya beach visually and especially from a high condo/hotel floor vantage point where it is spectacular. TikTok is all about the visual experience and that is why it is #2 on TikTok. If you watch the above watched the video - the "results" are explained quite easily. It's purely a result of the number of videos posted - so any Tik Tok video with #PattayaBeach is included - hence Pattaya is number 2.
