Taking Thai baht to Cambodia...

Featured Replies

Hi, i was in Laos a while back and took Thai baht with me, it was very easy to exchange to Kip everywhere and at good rates. Is it the same in Cambodia?

Thanks

I've taken US dollars on previous trips.

Right, i know US$ are accepted...asking about Thai baht though ????

Yes easy to exchange.

Can pay baht for visa on a Thai/Cambodia immigration office.

Thai baht often used close to Thai border in stores, etc. Some stores in Koh Kong have the price on items in Baht.

No problem changing in most cities and bigger towns especially those that get tourists.
