Feel sorry for AN posters who bought electric
We renew ourselves this month, and I'm interested myself, what the total loss value will be. As you know (for others), free 1st yr insurance was 960k vs 949k purchase price. 2nd year (1st renewal), value @ 840k, New purchase MSRP price has gone from 869k down to very recent new MSRP price of 829k, with 599k promo, still going, if can find. Best value out there IMHO, for B-class SUV (BEV or ICEV). I'm think new total loss value will be 700-725k. -

Saved a Thai from being fined. Good or bad?
Theoretically, the same regulations apply. personally believe such behaviors adds to the ‘community spirt’ of driving (in the Uk rural areas anyway) & makes drivers more considerate of each other - this is something cities across the globe are missing as the selfishness of human nature surfaces. -

The Republican Freak Show
No need to 'demonize' Trump. He's a very simple fella that does that to himself every time he opens his orange little potty mouth. -

Are cars legally required to stop for a zebra?
I have where I live even seen motor cyclists stopping bikes behind them. Strange I know but they are not all idiots, most are however. -

Russell Crowe to Star in Film Promoting Thailand and Muay Thai Globally
Expect another X-Twitter overload of pics of hanging cables as with 2022's The Greatest Beer Run Ever. Maybe the Kiwi is on a challenge to get more of Bangkok tidied up as with Prayut Chan-o-Cha's reaction to his last visit. Although worthy of the Oscar in Gladiator, I found his performance in his 2nd Ridley Scott collaboration more enjoyable, namely 2006's A Good Year. -

Incredible US banking ineptness
No, citibank confirmed it was a real account. They said they couldn't close it without proof it was fake. -

Problem With External Hard Drive.
Sounds crazy I know but Windows is unpredictable. I have a few SSD external drives and for a while they was not recognised by the computer. Try clearing all the trash from your computer and then go to This PC and run Properties. I found that cleared what ever was stopping my drives from being recognised -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
Given your track record, it should come as no surprise that my response is what it was. You have known for many many months that there are several aspects of Thai tax, affecting foreigners, that some people want to see clarified. You also know that more information is supposed to become available at the end of the year, when the new forms and guidance notes are issued. If you think the large tax firms don't know the answers and you don't trust the smaller firms, it seems pointless trying to get answers here from anyone, especially when you are only ever going to challenge whatever you read, as you constantly have done. My conclusions therefore are that you are doing nothing more than trying to make your usual mischief, for which I have no time or interest. Goodbye. -

Kemi Badenoch on Immigration: 'Not All Cultures Are Equal'
We could probably find some common ground. Six years would include the time needed to become an American citizen currently. Bringing aged parents? Hmm, like Melania’s parents … OK, I’m opens to saying there is room for discussion. Religious schools would get touchy in the USA as we have a strong Catholic School System and, under law, all religions are supposed to be treated alike. I am open to banning religious garb which hides facial features for recognition. If it is not acceptable in doing business at an ATM/entering a bank … passing through Passport control … Again, we have a bit of difference being separated by our common language … and customs some of which evolved from rejecting the English customs of the times. And we deal with a good portion of the USA founding European culture being influenced by Spain, in addition to being a nation of immigrants. -
