Total rubbish to say it is more democratic. (who's propaganda is that?) It also seems that the people of the Donbass don't share your view of Russia. Not after being bombed by Ukrainians for 8 years!

As a Jew I am insulted to think that that POS somehow represents Jews.

Zelinsky is a POS huh?

No, please stop. I've had my fill of ******* today. Russia attacked Ukraine and tried to conquer it. That's an undisputed fact for everyone who hasn't gone down a rabbit hole.

End of.

So says Russian state media.

So say people who don't fall for western propaganda and have sense enough to see through the propaganda of both sides. I don't know where you have been hiding this past year. Even the US pays more for petroleum products because of the war.

Holy Hell What universe do you live in. I'll let others more eloquent than me get into the politics of it but to say that Russia is winning the propaganda war is somewhat bizarre

OK, how about, doing better than the EU/UK after the propaganda war.

EU/UK now have to buy expensive fossil fuel from USA & others, where RU simply focused selling more to the markets that want their gas & oil.

Citizens of EU/UK suffering from the propaganda war, RU, just adjusted their marketing.

what ever. You have a right to believe what you want. One mans meat is anther poison.  Zelensky is poison. Soon the US will drop him like a ton of bricks for a more moderate person. Wait and see.

That's to do with the pandemic.

Maybe the US needs to bomb an innocent oil producing country again, it's been a while.

Ironic when the OP, who supports Biden, and supported Bush criticizes Putin.

Yes, if nobodies been to, live in, short or long term in UA or RU, you probably shouldn't be trying to tell other why and how things are.   Only info you have is probably from bias entertainment news networks.

There you go. Now you attack the poster not the comment. You lose.

Have you watched Emil Cosman? he has some pretty good analysis daily and then of course there is Professor Mearsheimer who gives a very detailed academic analysis.

Russia had little choice but to adjust its marketing and has now found itself with revenue from oil and gas production and exports fell in January by 46 percent from the same month last year. That's direct from the Russian Finance Ministry

This is true. I have travelled extensively in Russia and Ukraine and it very much helps to understand the culture to have BEEN THERE. In fact I was there in 2014. For the West it is very difficult to understand the Russian way of thinking because it is just different. Russia is a stubborn country and simply will never give in to bullying - in fact giving German tanks just brings back painful memories and unites them. War is ugly and I'm sure we all want peace - sending tanks will never achieve any kind of peace - ever.

Yes, I got the impression, Putin pretty much accomplished what he set out to do, free the regions that no longer wanted to be part of UA, and knock UA's war machine down a few notches, so they'd be safe.

Now with the 'west' fueling & restocking the UA's war machine, RU can't leave, as would be unsafe for the regions that were liberated.

All the west cares about, is defense contractor's profits, to restock their own reserves.

So lets wave those UA colors in front of peaceful people trying to enjoy their holiday.   And the OP implies Putin is a bully .... that's rich.

I just taught a class with a Russian and an Ukrainian. Both work for a large, US bank.

It was heartwarming the dialogue they had - the Russian apologizing profusely and the Ukrainian forgiving and understanding.

They have a long history and I don't see why the rest of the world are taking sides, especially as Ukraine are so corrupt.

Indeed, the rest of the world have caused the war to extend.

The US know this, and I feel they stir it up, for their own personal gain, especially as it distracts attention away from their own political mess.

While the invasion is history it happened one year ago so not exactly ancient history.

And no one but Putin apologists and the very disturbed challenge that undisputed fact. Which one are you?

Yes, if the West hadn't helped Ukraine would probably have been stolen by now. I'm proud of the way we've responded and when I see posts like yours the urge is to break forum rules, but you're not worth it so I won't.

Nato came to close, thats it! And also other small problems with logistics and a number of left behind russians who where suffering. As well the corruption and Nazis was easy to use in his propaganda.

Putin will loose, but how much will it take of human suffering and how much is Europe and Usa willing to pay for peace?

Moderate in what way? Willing to let Russia take Ukraine?

Ukraine has always been corrupt. I will never forget the time in Kiev when the Police planted coke (or what looked like coke) on me - took me to the Police station and extorted $700. I reported it to the British Embassy who basically said "move condos (I was renting one) but we can't do anything". It was terrifying but I'm told fairly common. They are gangsters.

We just cannot allow Putin to win. This must be the end of his murderous regime and we just can't put a price on it.
