An aging foreigner became a TikTok star after he was filmed taking pictures and blocking the traffic.

A video posted to TikTok by "Zico" featured the driver of what appeared to be a truck behind the foreigner, who seemed to be the owner of a pick-up that was stopped.

Light-heartedly the trucker was saying in "Phasa Isaan" (NE dialect) that he should be quick because the lights were green now. He shouldn't be blocking the traffic.

The clip went viral with 1,452 shares and getting on for half a million views.

Also in excess of 4,000 people commented with many wondering what the foreigner was up to.

The content creator said in a comment that there was no drama and he'd supply some numbers for the lottery later.

It went down in Sawang Daen Din district of Sakon Nakhon province in Thailand's north eastern region.

Mmm, definitely an AN member.

Identify yourself.  ????

Foreigner videoed blocking the traffic! The horror of it!!!

Deduct one point from his license now!!!!!

Looks like he wanted pics of the truck or bus with all the mirrors & decorations. Also blocked traffic. The driver filming him was on the phone whilst in the drivers seat. Lol

My guess would be angry pickup driver for being tailgated by the lorry.

What a world we seem to live in these days.

Odd behaviour. On the face of it selfish not to move when the lights changed. What was he actually trying to do ?

Old man with smart phone. What could go wrong .

What is all this about?

Nothing better to publish or talk about?

It's a good article.

It exposes the way some foreigners interact here in Thailand with their unusual, rude, disrespectful behavior.

This guy is strange, a weirdo, an extrovert.

He's a foreigner, a visitor to Thailand, this video shows him rudely holding up traffic for his own selfish needs.

I'm an under the radar guy, not wanting to be in the lime-light, it doesn't sit right with me.

I feel sorry for the people on their way to work or mum's on their way to school to pick up the kids who will be running late now because they've missed the traffic light.

While people in other countries are posting videos of drivers blocking traffic while trying to cut across three lanes of a highway at once because they need to make their turn and were in the wrong lane because the correct lane was too slow or because the next proper u-turn was too far away.
