Dashcam question:

 

I have an IROAD dash cam, front only. Supposed to be very good. Certainly expensive, but a nightmare for me to operate and use the app.

 

I am not good with apps and tech and I would like to change it for something that is simple to use.

 

Question: Can I simply unplug my camera and replace it with a different model using the same, already installed cable?

Maybe, I think they all operate on a 5 volt supply from USB type power, but it depends on what plug/socket combination is on the dashcam, if the plug fits, it should be ok.

 

I bought the cheapest dashcam, 1,800 baht fitted, I don't know how to use mine either, the supplier told me just to unplug it shortly after an accident and the insurance company would do the rest.
