Will take few months before 100% but if you were healthy before you'll come back. Do what you can to gain strength next 60 days.

How that ties into your depression could be a thousand ways

Oh did I ever.

Really bad and not like the way I normally feel when sad and depressed. Something altogether different. Everything, even cartoons in the New Yorker, struck me as tragic.

It is a very well known feature of dengue.

It resolves with time but very gradually.  Can take as long as 1 - 2 months in some csses.

Just keep reminfmding yourself  it's part of the disease.

Got it twice or thrice over couple of decades in SEAsia.

Flushed that <deleted> with 101 Pipers. Tasted like 7 types of <deleted>, but didn't care.

Feels horrible, but bearable. Recovered within second week. No doctors and meds. Immune system biz only.

Spent a week in Memorial Pattaya about 12 years ago  on drips and meds , very bad  until it fever broke then really weak for a few weeks after  , its a nasty thing .

papaya leaves juice is a traditional remedy, also for recovery.

Very bitter, mix with sugar.

Do denqvaxia in a few months time

I had it twice: The first time was a living hell, living alone in a 5-story shophouse in 2000. I really thought I was going to die. It took about a month to get over it.

The second time was 2019, before Covid. This time I was hospitalized for 2 nights, but it wasn't as bad in the early stages as the first time. However, after I recovered I had excruciating arthritis in my hands. I suffered for a long time before trying prednisone, which was like a magic elixir.

Both bouts were far, far worse than Covid.

Do you know where you got it?  It is currently far out of the rainy season which is why I am asking.

Sheryl gives good advice: it's part of the disease; miserable, but it will pass..

I've had it twice. First time in the 90s (in Laos) was much worse than second time about 10 years ago (in Bangkok). Felt pretty down the first time round for about a month. But it did get better.

I could not sweat afterwards....I am very sporty and ride the bicycle a month later and I had power like a 12 year old girl....

But after 6 month everything was back to normal...it only need time

my advice l have  never caught dengue !! Fresh green vegetables Oganic if possible : Greens , Kale , Broccoli , Cabbage made shakes non cooked Fresh , l had major health issues via my immune system under attack 3 different virus at once + life threatening

l thought had common flu took 4 weeks was in March 2020 finally seeked out medical attention after numerous tests mri blue dye results back in days was immediately admitted to hospital isolation ward once diagnosed & discharged decided seek alternative living choice to fix & to specialist amazement it woked Not saying about your dengue issue othe r related problems..  ! l went total keto for 6 months Doc Berg YouTube got lot out of it maybe give it go still do Keto diet foods but not as strictly when first fell ill , full recovery

Yes in KL in 2009... Was hospitalised... A very bad experience. Out of the worst after 10 days.  I never got any kind of depression though, so don't know anything about that...

Good luck.

Had Dengue once and severe enough to scare the sh,,,, out of me. Once the fever broke from a solid high of 40 over several days I got excruciating arthritis first on my ankles so bad I could not get up unaided. It seemed to last several weeks. Once I started to get better I had the same experience in my hands.

Doctor never tested which of the strands I had only confirmed via blood test that I indeed had dengue.

Took me best part of 6 months to be right again.

Yes, I got dengue 15 years ago in Hua Hin. I was two weeks at San Paulo Hospital and lucky to stay alive. It took 3 months till I could walk stairs alone. After 6 months I was ready to do normal life again
