So they idea is you buy a frog and then make a wish and then let the frog go free.

This guy said we have to let it go in his special place near his shop so he can catch it again and make more profit.  We also bought some fish and he didn't care much about them because everyone puts them in the large river.

When we gave the buckets back he was asking why we let the frog go free and where it was.

Why didn't he just use magic and bring it back?

Bro, why sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad?

take a chill pill

this is LOS

but if it's the pollution or noise or constant look from Thais that the farang is "dirty"   well, then I understand.

That was the moment when you should have told him that won't happen and walk away.

He must have been hopping mad. Obviously hoping to exploit the poor frog until it croaked.

Same with the little birds you buy "to set free", the ruddy things fly back into the sellers' cages where they get fed and watered.

Unlike the people who buy them they are not bird-brains :whistling:

When your 3 year old granddaughter wants to set them free what can you do?
