Daily News Thai Caption: Necklaced!

Khokpho police in Pattani southern Thailand investigating the disappearance of a food delivery rider believe they have found his remains.

Chanchanok, 23, is believed to have been tied up threatened with a gun and beaten.

His mouth was sealed with duct tape.

He was then taken to an area of undergrowth across the provincial border in Songkhla where he was "necklaced" or burned with car tires, reported Daily News.

Police found very little of his remains - there was some flesh, teeth and a belt buckle.

DNA will confirm that the deceased is the missing man.

His father Sachon, 51, had reported him missing on February 24th. He said he always came home after work as a food delivery motorcyclist.

Three men had already been arrested - they were Anek, 38, the owner of a krathom tea shop, Adul, 33, and Nanthapong, 33. A female was also helping police with their inquiries.

Those responsible for what happened have told conflicting stories.

But Anek said it was over three amulets he claimed the victim stole.

They have been charged with armed robbery, abduction and weapons offences.

The cause of death of the victim has yet to be determined.

Nonsense. If you just stay out of trouble and don't mingle with questionable types, you will be fine.

I have lived in the area for nearly 7 years and have done just that. No problem.

I would strongly disagree. You are lucky until your not! Never forget "jealousy" Which is simply someone's perception right or wrong of you having what they want or Blaming you for their misfortune. Never ever forget if you are non Thai people know you must have minimum of 400,000baht sitting in a bank account and remember the news which often pops up whole Thai families have been tortured as their bank account emptied for as little as 100,000baht then murdered. Don't be smug just be careful.

Thought that first word was Pattaya for a moment.

Necklaced....I was thinking he had been given a Columbian Necktie...but then he was instead barbequed....so I am confused.  May he RIP, well ashes actually.

'Necklaced' was popular in South Africa circa 1980s (Black on black crime). Car tyre round the neck then set it on fire.

"Necklacing" is the practice of filling the bottom space of an empty tyre with petrol, hanging it around the victim's neck then setting it alight.
