If I can't get done in one place where to get Velcro in different width and a shoemaker for some sewing?

On the wrong-side street coming from Thapae just before the Sikh Temple on the right side is a shop for sewing supplies, they would most likely have the velcro you need.  That is about 40 meters before Chiang Moi Road.
