Hilarious. The world could not care less about Thailand. It is viewed as a corrupt and politically disfunctional backwater. 3

spidermike007
Bamboo diplomacy,’ or a foreign policy marked by pragmatism and flexibility that balances competing geopolitical interests and ‘bends with the wind.’ In other words, never criticize a despot neighbor like Burma or Cambodia, regardless of what they are doing. Forsake the moral high ground, and always consider the money, not the benefits for the people. And bow down to the Master, China, while remaining neutral towards sinister aggressors, like Russia. One needs not antagonize, after all. 1

sidneybear
While still appearing to be aligned with the US, Thailand will likely move closer to the emerging Chinese superpower and its satellites, including Russia, as this interesting academic study shows.
