3 Weeks In Europe

Featured Replies

I really enjoyed meeting you MiG, as I'm sure you realised when I stayed in London far longer than I expected to.

You most certainly did not overstay your welcome with me at all. I'm going to start building a non-smoking wing onto my house for the next time...

Is that violins and bird singing I hear?

left London Sunday afternoon, and I have to say Im already missing it! pleasantly enough....it didnt rain once while I was there :o

i wished i had more time there. apart from meeting Kayo and talking to Suegha and Moss, and all the other nice things I managed to do while there, it would have been nice if i had the chance to at least say hello to some of my silly rivals like redrus and markr...and maybe even seapok. but oh well.

so now in germany....its gonna be a busy 2 weeks...what with the course and the (SERIOUS) partying that we have already started to get going!

pics of me...ermm im hiding in the Klownäs shadow. Im not as handsome as him..so ahve to hide:D

Awwww .... sweet.

There were bells on a hill

But I never heard them ringing

No I never heard them at all

Till there was you

There were birds in the sky

But I never saw them winging

No I never saw them at all

Till there was you

Then there was music and wonderful roses

They tell me in sweet fragrant meadows of dawn and dew

There was love all around

But I never heard it singing

No I never heard it at all

Till there was you

Then there was music and wonderful roses

They tell me in sweet fragrant meadows of dawn and dew

There was love all around

But I never heard it singing

No I never heard it at all

Till there was you

Till there was you.

When's the wedding :o

if I had known that then perhaps my last stop in england would have been Cambridge rather than Windsor :D

interesting place that is though.....filled with tourists by day and party revellers by night :D very posh party-goers I must add!

Im on expensive internet these days....so not sure I wanna post more pics just yet

but the first one i posted of Kayo was the pic he was referring to :o u see how the big ben face is missing

Fluffers? Kayo the Ripper? Tell the 'real' story? :o

No wonder this is such a popular thread... ( I was wondering with all the pages)

Nice pics btw Kayo! So, how was MiGs holiday? :D

MiG certainly seems to have had a good time, and it's not over yet!

but Khall...what I dont understand is..someone seems to have suddenly taken a disliking to it?A couple of day ago this thread and my chocolate thread was at 5 star, but next time I look both have come down to 3 stars :o

awwwww

probably too many pics of me... :o

and not enough of you! :D

Suegha...well germany...especially where I am in germany..doesnt quite compare to London :D although Im with a fun crowd of people here. but location-wise I have to say its certainly an anti-climax to London.

hmm pics of me would prolly bring the stars down to negative in that case. doesnt explain why the chocolate thread got downgraded too though :o looks like somebody must luv me anymore...... or maybe they now hate chocolates? :D

Miggy, there seems to be an anti-good-feel, anti-Beddite-friends movement here lately. Please ignore.

  • Author

thanks as usual sweetie :o

rainy evenings in germany....pretty much means Im mostly confined to our in-house bar...so it also means I do have a tiny bit more time on the computer late nights :D but nothing to report on the travel front though.......

  • Author

a slight update:

as of Saturday morning we will be heading from near Cologne towards Dresden and nearby towns...to those that know Germany a bit or a lot.

some more details later :o

Sorry miggy but i may have contributed to the downward spiral in moods..

So lets all have a big group hug (like in fight club with meatloaf's man tit's) and get over it pronto..

group hug huh.......

hmm lemme think about that.....

yeh could be handy considering whats ahead for the next 24 hours......

a tequila party tonight :o

but tomorrow will be a very somber experience of a visit to one of Germany's notorious concentration camp Buchenwald :D just the thought of the place is enough to send shivers down my spine, but mostly that same questioning about all the senseless cruelty and violence that continues around us also today.........

ouch mig, that will be a tough visit. Its not something i could personally go to.

Well, looks like your holiday is going well. Great pics! Some are cryinggg out for captions.

pls keep us updated :o

Buchenwald is harrowing, Austzwich even more so. It's a good lesson in mankind's ability to do evil! Still, I felt a stronger person after my visit!

I have visited the Jewish Musuem in Berlin twice and also the new memorial near the parliament in Berlin.....and both places were very saddening. at the jewish musuem in particular..there was also the exhibition of the company that produced the gas chambers.........Ive read some small bits of the WW, but seeing those little captions to the photos of just some basic looking equipment was really heart wrenching........

Miggy, just don't mix your drinks! Stick on the one type all night to avoid hangover. And don't let the tequila creep up on you. The drunkest I have ever been in my life was after downing a bottle of tequila, I didn't even realise I'd finished it!

  • Author

so far we've finished 3 maybe more tequila bottles, one vodka, some wine....lots of beers by the others....and the party is only half way:P

ohh not mixing drinks......thats something Ive never been good at...so far Ive had champagne, tequila, and some cheap red wine....and now edging for some bailey's......

thats the bad (good?) thing about partying at home...well not exactly home...but atleast if we get drunk all thats needed is an elevator ride up to our rooms.....
