The only issue I forsee is school pictures, they are home schooled. That and I also read in the child support exrension, is namely for those partners of dead or divorced thai nationals, so as to care for a child.

Starting over with a fresh Non-O visa from a nearby embassy or consulate is your best option in this case. A bit of an effort, but 100% above board. 

I got a 60 day extension to visit my Thai wife last year when my 12 month marriage extension was denied.  The process was pretty easy.

That's not possible. Those 7 days aren't a regular extension, but rather an order to leave with a grace period. So leave you must, unless you end up in hospital or in court.

It is once per visa used to gain entry into Thailand. As in my case this visa could have been used many years ago, with permissions to stay in Thailand being subsequently extended on an annual basis.

@Foreignheight6foot2 - upon reflection I don't think that this will be necessary in your case. While this requirement is explicitly stated for non-O conversions based on retirement, it isn't for conversions based on marriage. Alas I missed the bus for editing my post further!????

Just beware, though, that you would need to submit a non-O conversion application at least 15 days before your visa-exempt permission to stay expired.

Im making it clear on a public forum that there are holidays coming up, and as this is my thread the relevance to my topic and others.

 

I didnt season funds as i had many times before, because as i was about to, i was incapacitated by covid for 2 weeks. Unfortunate but no big deal.

 

Maybe rather than giving advice like youre Jesus and expecting adulation for it, you should step off your high horse and chill out.

I didnt point it out as a flaw, but a reality, like holidays and weekends for immigration services, pandemics and life.
