Does anyone on this forum think a request for a red notice will be adhered to, much less enforced? Is the credibility of a government taken into account? Is a regime like the one we have here just ignored and scorned?

For instance, when Interpol is aware that Thailand has no real interest in the bringing Thaksin, or the Red bull creep back here for trial, is that taken into account? In this case, it is unlikely they would defy their master Xi. And it is possible these thugs worked for the CCP mafia. Who knows?

Yes, this will be taken very seriously because someone big and influential is affected.

For sure, I'm very surprised they went to China and will be even more surprised if they're still there.

Interpol Red Notice sought for arrest of suspects in Chinese student’s murder

The Thai Interpol branch will seek the issuance of a Red Notice, asking law enforcement agencies worldwide to locate and arrest three Chinese men wanted in Thailand for allegedly abducting and murdering a Chinese student in Nonthaburi last week.

Pol Gen Damrongsak Kittipraphat, the national police chief, said that he has instructed one of his deputies, Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn, to approach the Chinese Embassy in Thailand for help in finding the suspects for extradition to Thailand to stand trial.

The suspects, who have been identified by the Thai police, fled to Chengdu in China’s Sichuan province on March 30th, one day after they allegedly murdered their hostage, 22-year old Jin Can, after her father in China refused to pay them the 500,000 yuan (~ 2.5 million baht) in ransom.

Its a strange thing, normally a red notice includes names and photos of the suspects. The ransom was also real low and the culprits chosen destination indicates they may be chinese. So all eyes are definitely not on thailand here. That's what they like.

Arrest warrants for three Chinese killers, one a spurned lover, who were assisted by a Thai woman
by Carla Boonkong & Pranee O' Connor

Deputy Chief of Region 1 Police Lieutenant General Worachat Saenkham flanked by deputy chief of Nonthaburi Police Colonel Somphon Wongsrisoontorn at 4 pm on Monday gave an update on progress in the case which has seen a warrant issued for the arrest of three Chinese suspected killers one of whom, police have suggested, was a spurned lover of the 22-year-old victim, Ms Jin Can, who was tortured to death.

The National Police Commissioner General Damrongsak Kittiprapas on Monday advised that visa-on-arrival facilities from China be looked at as they may be attracting spurious criminal elements from the communist country into Thailand.

He accepted the importance of the country’s critical foreign tourism industry but suggested that some safeguards could be applied in the interest of national security and ultimately, the safety of law-abiding tourists and visitors.

Police, on Monday, investigating the torture and murder of a Chinese 22-year-old student revealed that the young woman probably died after being strangled when a cloth hood was placed over her head and fastened around her neck by the sadistic gang after they had, first of all, burned and inflicted multiple stab wounds all over her body. Police also revealed that at least one of the men was known to the victim and had, in the past, unsuccessfully attempted to woo her.

They also disclosed that a 19-year-old Thai woman, a karaoke bar hostess, had befriended the murderous trio from China believed to have carried out the sickening outrage and assisted them, both before and after the murder. Warrants were issued on Monday for their arrest by the Nonthaburi Provincial Court with Thai police already pursuing their apprehension by authorities in China and extradition back to the kingdom where they face charges including premeditated murder with torture, a capital crime punishable by the death penalty which is, however, rarely enforced in Thailand.

Quite, the Red Notice for the Red Bull heir 'Boss' was there one minute then it disappeared?

Just because it is not publicly shown on the Interpol website doesn't mean that it has "disappeared", there are thousands that are not made available to the public...they don't all need to be.

Right, but it initially did appear on the website when it was first issued! then it did 'disappear' from the website.

These three Chinese guys need to found before they do it again to someone else!

They know exactly where Khun Boss is, they also know he returns to Thailand to visit family and friends.

Red notice not needed to place him in  custody if thats what they wanted.
