what a waste of money. i'm never going to see another concert.

it's just an ego thing ... people can brag that they saw Elvis in 1942 ... who cares? his music is still available online.

we watch movies at home, so music at home is good enough.

I don't regret seeing some big names live. They were awesome.

  • If you feel you are at a sweet spot in life right now, why ruin the good feeling by regretting something you can not change?    All my good and bad deeds leads up today, no regrets.

The last 6 months has been the best 6 months of my life since about 2010. Simply because I choose to forget the past and focus on the next week ahead.

yes, and some people got crushed at a Who concert.

I have no interest being in large crowds of potentially unruly people.

I listen to music every day.

There are hundreds of artists I like.

If I were to go start chasing them all down in concerts, it would be very costly.

And I'm quite content just listening in the comfort of my home.

Pick your top 3, go see them. The Who were terrible at the Superbowl.

Jeez, sure seems stupid of a person to say or think they actually have no regrets.  Of course,  we all have regrets in you tried to actually live a life, had life experiences.  It is perfectly normal to have regrets.

Personal choice.

The past doesn't exist anymore so regretting the past is like regretting a ghost so it's not healthy. It might be common but of no value.

I'd just say one thing as a parting thought:

Do

Not

Procrastinate.

We all know the end is coming but we don't know when.

If I knew when my ending was I'd be in LOS spending large on women, but I don't so I'm not.

As for procrastination, it's not lack of desire to do things, but rather that my body is no longer capable of much.

A "big name" I saw was Dire Straits. It was an enjoyable concert but I was so far away from the stage it was like watching tv from the back of a big room. I could have bought a VDO instead and enjoyed that as much.

The last group I saw was the one with Kris Kristofferson in it. Saw it in Bkk and so far away I could barely see them.

I bought 2 expensive tickets by post to see the Beatles live in Adelaide.

On arrival discovered the hall was massive. Full house. Our booked seats in second last row.

Performers on stage looked about the size of ants.

Audience went wild with screaming and yelling all the time, couldn't really hear the Beatles singing or their band work.

Waste of time and money.

It's more regretting the things I didn't do, and not being able to do them now, than the things that happened.

Apart from money doing other things adds nothing now.

Disagree 100%.

My entire life was about doing things, till I couldn't.

So it you went to Peru 15 years ago how does that improve 2023 for you?

Carry on without me.

The point is if you have money and fitness now you can do things in 2023.
