Phuket – Phuket has announced in total 44 road accidents in six days (April 11th – April 16th) in Songkran’s Seven Days of Danger road accidents campaign (April 11th to April 17th).


The Phuket Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) Office told the Phuket Express today (April 17th) details on the sixth day (April 16th) of the ‘Songkran’s Seven Days of Danger’ road accidents campaign.

 

On April 16th, three road accidents took place in the Mueang District with three injuries.

These reports are totally useless unless they compare the number of accidents that occur on "normal" days. It's like they are trying to suggest that accidents only happen during Songkran.
