Been taking losartan 50 mg for about 2 weeks for high blood pressure and having some terrible side effects feel  weak chest pain tightness and overall lousy feeling. Feel like I have pressure when I'm walking.Tried stopping for one day and felt much better but the second day got chest pain so I started again as it says from the internet cannot stop abruptly. Anyone have experience taking this drug and any advice would be greatly appreciated

He sees a doctor? For what?

The doctor who prescribed losartan for him 2 weeks ago is the one best placed to advise him, not random people on a forum, nor Dr Google.

Self diagnosis and medicating for hypertension might not be the wisest thing to do.

I have been doing it for many years. Who says it isn't a good idea? You? What do you know that I don't?

The internet has made doctors less necessary and after their total F$*$*&#$%* up over the Wuhan Virus, why would I trust them?

These kinds of posts would be great with more details as others have said

1- Doctor prescribed?

2- What is your BP?

3- Age & weight?

I think you would get more information if post was a bit more clear
