lungbing Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 My Canon MF 3010 mono laser printer works fine when scanning and copying and I can change the toner density when copying. But when I print a document the output is too faint and I cannot find where to adjust it. In the 'preferences' section when you print there is an toner adjustent "off/custom settings" setting but that has no effect. Any suggestions anybody?
howto Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Check your manual and find how to check the page count of that unit. Is the drum due for replacement? Could be a toner cartridge issue, try a new OEM unit. Clean the corona wire. Check for updated firmware. Aside; I have noticed some paper can have this effect.
