You are correct. They were uninterrupted as protesters were moved on for stepping over the line.

They did indeed cause a disruption , but they had to cause a disruption in an area away from the main procession and so not to stop the coronation .

   And the people there for the coronation drowned out the protesters message by shouting louder than they did in retaliation
