New go-go bar fashion: towels and pyjamas?

Featured Replies

Last night I was in Nana. By now I don't visit that place only every couple of weeks.

In the first bar all looked normal, just like usual. And then in the next bar they had very special dressing rules.

All girls on stage had a big towel. Some girls wrapped it around them like if they would come just out of the shower. Some put it around their waist.

And underneath those towels they had the usual bikinis. So there was nothing special to hide which couldn't be seen in any other bar.

Strange.

My friend asked one of the dancers what is happening. She said that night the boss told them they have to buy a towel for 200B from the boss, and then use it all the time on stage and when sitting with the customers.

Very strange

And then we also realized that all service people were running around in pyjamas. Nothing sexy, the kind my father would wear.

Strange again.

By now I gave up finding any logic in Thailand. But I just can't suppress this question: Why are they doing that? Does anybody of you have an idea.

I guess for legal reasons it's not a good idea to name the place here. But it's on the ground floor of Nana and very big.

The following pictures are from the internet because obviously I couldn't take any pictures in the bars. They represent on how it looked in that go-go bar.
I put them in a separate comment because sometimes they are censored.

If I were the boss, that would be good enough reason for me to do it. Next week will be Cowboy-Hat-Night and all the girls will have to buy one for 150B.

What were they charging for a beer?

It's simple. The towels are to clean up the mess after the customer finishes.

No idea. I only drink whisky.

I know some bars have some beer promotions. You should be able to find some prices on their facebook pages.
