Rawai – The lifeless body of a man which authorities said could be that of a Russian tourist who had gone missing after being thrown into the sea by strong waves was discovered in Phuket waters Sunday, May 14th.

The body of a white male foreigner clad only in black shorts was discovered by a local fisherman at around 12:50 PM today, May 14th, the Phuket Rescue Foundation reported.

It was found floating about 150-200 meters off the Laem Daeng Cliff near Kalim Beach in the Patong sub-district of Kathu district, Phuket. The rescue team went in search of the body and brought it ashore on a rubber boat at Yanui Beach in the Rawai sub-district of Mueang district.

Yeah, me too! They really have to stop polluting our oceans.

An inappropriate emoji laden post and a troll post have been removed.

The drift current south-north isn't what I'd have expected having snorkeled and kayaked often in this area I'd have predicted N-S.

The body drifted almost 15km in 48hrs, and relatively close to the shore. Anyhow, pleased the body has been recovered for family/friends.

Russians coming here seem to be completely unaware of their surroundings and dangers.

10 out of 15 foreign motorcycle deaths are Russian.

Almost daily Russian drowing/washed away, selfie death etc.

Or is it just the mere number/majority they form?

A post which is off-topic and a troll post have been removed.
