Resolved - Transfering images from drive to drive safely.

Posted (edited)

I have a lot of images on my 'D' drive, not my 'C' drive. Using Windows 11.
Only some of them I want to copy to another drive/hard desk, to work on.
Then replace them on my 'D" drive with the revised versions.

My fear is in how to do this, without losing any of these images.
Any advise would be appreciated please?

Edit:

Sorry, I did not read exactly and thought it's just a matter of saving existing files.

Do you not simply open the image with whichever software you use to edit it, and then either SAVE for it to overwrite the original, or SAVE AS and add say a 02 to it's name. Then you still have both to do with what you wish.

Resolved - show more options, copy and paste.

Drag & drop with two windows open.
