Then later, the Russian owned a restaurant in Thailand.

 

Obviously there are dots that need to be connected here.

Was he laundering money through his restaurant ? He was

obviously on someone's " Wanted " list.

If you don't have sympathy for a particular nationality, that shows prejudice. You can't blame every Russian for what one narcissistic maniac has others under his control do. Like Stalin in the past, and other nations like one I'm thinking of, Russian people are controlled, and dealt with harshly if they stand up to insane rulers that are either self appointed or forced their way in otherwise. Russia's nation isn't bombing people, the military under the command of a crazy is. Like North Korea, the people have no rights to complain, until that dictator is eliminated.

Phuket is full of them, Only last week we had Russian guest check out they are not going back to Russia, he told me his story how they left, they drove and eventually ended up in Turkey where he left his car then came to Phuket, so he has gone back to Turkey to get his car then he will drive to Spain then fly to Argentina get his car shipped over, They plan to stay there, His wife is pregnant if she has the baby there it will get citizenship and so do the parents, 

As he said no messing about with visa's like in Thailand

Would of thought easier to shoot through drivers side window (closer range more chance of hitting target) And Kazak guy they've collared on his way out looks a bigger frame than the dude who was on the bike in CCTV still.

UPDATE: Suspect Arrested After a Russian Man Was Shot in His Car in Phuket

Phuket – A foreign suspect was arrested at Phuket International Airport after a Russian businessman was injured after being shot while he was in a car in Cherng Talay at a local cafe.

 

The Phuket Immigration Office told the Phuket Express on Thursday morning (June 8th) that the prime suspect has been arrested at a ticket counter at the international terminal in the Phuket International Airport. The foreign suspect was identified as Mr. Artur Legay, 49, a Kazakhstani national.

 

The suspect had been tracked by relevant agencies since yesterday afternoon after fleeing the scene following allegedly shooting the victim Aleynikov Dmitry, 44, four times around his chest. Mr. Dmitry survived and was even cognizant and able to walk and talk on his own following the incident.
