Popular Post webfact Posted June 26, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted June 26, 2023 In the soaring summer heat, a pile of old tires and plastics by the roadside mysteriously caught fire in Soi Kupara, Moo 3, Bang Pla Subdistrict, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province. The local residents reported that the pile of tires has been there for quite some time, but no one knows its origin, reported 77kaoded. At 14:30 on June 26, 2023, the officers from Bang Phli Police Station, Samut Prakan, were notified of the incident. After receiving the notification, they coordinated with over 10 nearby fire trucks from Bang Pla Subdistrict Municipality and neighboring areas to inspect the scene. Picture: 77kaoded On arrival, the officers found the fire fiercely blazing, with large plumes of black smoke soaring into the sky, visible from a distance. Multiple units worked together, spraying water to contain the fire to prevent it from spreading to adjacent areas, which were industrial plants. However, the strong wind made controlling the fire difficult, and the tires and plastics provided excellent fuel for the fire. It took them over an hour to finally put out the fire. I live in Samutprakarn and our summer has not been hotter than other years, in fact, this summer has been wetter than many of the summers that I have seen here. The last week has been fairly cool with the occasional stormy night, today is cloudy with the sun occasionally peeking through..
