Has anybody had eye surgery in Chiang Mai?

I just had my eyes checked in Khon Kaen.

 

I have cataracts on both eyes but the opthalmology lady said my vision is only reduced by 20% at the moment and it is too early to operate to remove the cataracts as they are slow developing.

 

I am looking at Lens replacement but I have an appointment with a highly regarded UK specialist on September 12th.

 

I am not looking at Lasik or anything like that, just to clarify.

 

Listening to other posters on here, I may look at the Lens replacement and reading glasses route if that turns out to be the best option..
