Well if conspiracy theories are permitted, then that’s as good as any so far.

There's no evidence that it isn't true (that's how conspiracy theories work) so that means it might be true. Isn't that what we keep hearing all the time around here.

It's a bag of coke not a 12 foot tall white rabbit.

It was found in a cubby-hole near the West Executive entrance. All the person would have to do is turn their back to the camera and hey presto, nothing to see.

Nothing to see? How many people do you think turn their back to the camera and then approach this cubby hole? You think you can't identify someone because they turn their back to the camera for a couple of seconds? They'd be easily identified from the next CCTV camera they appeared on, or the same CCTV camera once they turn around again.

Unless security is even worse than suspected, this bag of Coke would have been found quite quickly so the timeframe would be quite short.

If they genuinely don't know who put it there it's a damning indictment on the security setup there. You think you could get into the Kremlin, dump a bag of Coke in a cubby hole and get out without ever being identified? It's incredibly embarrassing for the security team. Or maybe that dastardly Trump dangled from the ceiling and placed it there, ala Ethan Hunt?

You guys (and of course Trump) really are clutching at straws. If (and it's a very big if) Hunter was involved, don't you think he would have a better place to hide it.............. like in his own room or even up his own nose?

You know that's actually a decent point. I can't imagine Hunter hangs onto bags of Coke for too long before they enter an orifice.

Of course, certain people are excluded from visitor logs.

I'm sure it's just an unfortunate coincidence though. Move along please...

Family members aren't required to sign the visitor logs.  However if a Biden family member had been in that area in the days before the discovery, you may assume cameras would have picked it up and witnesses would have remembered it.

if this is true and i highly doubt it. there is a serious security concern here. the white house should be monitored at all times. no exceptions. no hidden camera spots. this is the white house we are talking about not a grocery store.

clean up on aisle 45.

Since they didn't find out who was flushing documents down the toilet during the Trump administration (an act that would have been much more obvious than dropping a small bag of cocaine) it's safe to assume that there aren't cameras covering everything.

I am not doubting that cameras picked it up.

Sorry don't agree, I'm going with Trump's alternative choice, that crackhead Jack Smith

Trump's recent defamation of Jack Smith is likely because of this. He's disappointed that the FBI closed the investigation because he needs a deflection right now.

Two of Donald Trump's longtime top aides — his son-in-law Jared Kushner, and political adviser Hope Hicks, were interviewed by special counsel Jack Smith as part of the criminal investigation into the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. According to reports, Kushner told Smith that Trump genuinely believed the election had been stolen from him.

Write to your representative and provide the evidence.

I'm afraid I do not have access to the White House's CCTV footage.

Although given the apparent lack of security there I might just book myself a tour and grab it while I'm there. Just look away from the cameras for a second while I pick it up. They'll never catch me with so many visitors coming and going ????.

You should do that.

Who knows you might finally have some concrete evidence instead of conspiracies, baseless accusations and innuendo.

Hunter's drug use has been well documented. No need to imagine anything.

Right.  And he's the only on in the country, probably the only one in the world, who uses drugs.  So obviously the coke belongs to Hunter.

On the one hand you assert the seriousness of drugs being found in the White House while on the other you dream up conspiracies, baseless allegations and innuendo.

Hunter Biden’s drug use is well documented, what is missing is any connection between Hunter Biden and the drugs recovered.

Oh but this is serious, so you don’t need evidence.

Evidence of what?

I never said they were Hunter's drugs. It seems you have quite the imagination.

I wonder how often Hunter even goes to the white house. And I'd be pretty certain that when he did, he wouldn't be using the public entrance.

Yet you keep talking about a cover up. Who would they be covering up for then? The maid, the cleaning staff, the guy guiding the tours?

Your inferance is there and we're just not that dumb not to notice.

Could be anyone. A close aide. Another member of the family. Another member of the administration?

Why would you assume I must be referring to Hunter? Is his reputation really that bad now that one mention of a coverup involving Cocaine and you automatically assume it must be him?

That's quite a presumption.

So it is OK for people to casually carry drugs into the White House, use them in the White House, drop bags of weed and coke here and there, no big deal...  jesus, what kind of world do you live in?

According to North Carolina Republican congressman Madison Cawthorn, even leading members of the Republican Party do "key bumps" of cocaine at parties - and there are multiple reports of similar antics involving Matt Gaetz.

So for all we know, it could just as easily have been a visiting Republican politician who left it there?

Merriam-Webster defines ‘key bump’ after Madison Cawthorn’s bizarre orgy claims
