Pattaya police busted the “Dirty Pattaya nightclub” in Soi Kho Pai at 02:30 AM Tuesday morning, July 18th. Eight alleged drug users were arrested.

 

Roughly over 100 pub-goers were at the venue dancing and partying when the authorities showed up. However, as the police approached the pub’s entrance, the pub-goers spotted them and quickly scattered in all directions to evade arrest.

 

It was unclear if any managed to escape, but according to the Pattaya police they turned off the music at the pub and switched on the lights to proceed with ID checks and drug tests on the unspecified number of customers.

and if the customers only smoked marijuana, were they arrested?

and what actually happens to these arrestees ? Do they appear in court and if so what are the likely sentences ?
