They both take a silly game too seriously.

Australia do very well at it, as they do in many sports, despite being a new country, unlike my country, who invented so many things, including golf yet can't play the silly game to save their lives. My nephew is Australian and plays for a Yorkshire team as a living!

It is not a silly game to the millions who get enjoyment from it....:coffee1:

It's certainly huge in India. I was there in 1992/3 when India beat England 5-0.

There's something satisfying when other's beat England as they are rather arrogant when it comes to this game, and rugby.

Once I played at Gordonstoun against a Saudi and English prince , when there were bodyguards on the touch. I got 28 not out ???? 'posh <deleted>' is what we called them.

They have become the complete whingers, they grass a catch and call it a fair catch, the wicket keeper  tries to run out a batsman when he is out of his crease then whinge when the aussies do it, they snick a ball on the way through but pretend they didnt  and refuse to walk then whinge when the aussies do it. Really shows how pathetic the poms have become, they even had the wickets made to their demands as well as the shortening of boundaries to suit their BS new play but still lost, shows how incompetent they really are, the children need to grow up and realize that they need to play cricket and not bazzball, also have to realizee it is their garbage weather that is also the problem, all in all it couldnt have happened to bigger idiots, Australia won the first 2 tests with their doctored grounds, hahahahaha, only ones responsible are the poms

The prospect of going to the oval at 2-2, to play out a thrilling decider, has been enchanting the genuine cricket fans from both of these great cricketing nations; only the dimmest of partisans crave a trophy so badly as to be gratified by a non result.

Scots always support the team up against England.

The Australian side has not got sucked into all the vitriol spewed at them by the English who have been trying to deflect from their inadequacies.

They really could have rubbed it in, but have chosen to take the high road.

Winners are grinners.

Out of 340 ashes tests, England have only won a mere 108.

Now, I'm not going to mention that though am I? I'm an arrogant, whingeing Pom ????

The last win for England in Oz though was 2011 so a decade more recent than Aussies last win in the UK. England also won three matches by an innings in that series. Also the first team to score 500+ in 4 innings in an Ashes series.

These are the last 6 Ashes series.

13-0 in Australia
6-6 in England

Not going to get into all of the slagging off crap.

For true lovers of the game, it's been a sensational series so far.

Apart from this one, the first 3 tests were crackers that could've gone either way.

Respecting umpires is sportsmanship.

All footballers bend the rules far more.

Tennis players can serve underarm.

Is that against the spirit of the game?
