Republicans up the personal attacks on Biden and his family

GOP presidential candidates have started to go after the president for his lack of a relationship with one of Hunter Biden’s daughters.

President Joe Biden’s family story has long been one of his greatest strengths politically. Republicans are starting to think they can turn it into a liability. 

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has had no shortage of issues on which he’s attacked Biden — immigration, the military or “woke” policies. But speaking to a group of Republicans about parental rights in Tennessee last weekend, he made it more personal.

 

“Why don’t you spend some time with your granddaughter in Arkansas, or at least recognize her existence before you start worrying about our kids?” DeSantis said.

He also tweeted a jab at Biden on the issue on Friday.

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley floated this attack on Thursday as well when she talked about her call for mental competency tests of presidents and quipped that they should include a question about “how many grandchildren you have.”

You know the article is biased when the first sentence uses the phrase "one of Hunter Biden's daughters". It is a way to distance Joe Biden from the truth that he is trying to erase one of his grandchildren from existence. It isn't just the "lack of a relationship". It is absolute refusal to acknowledge that they are even alive. And further, he instructs his staff to do the same.  Completely unforgivable, nasty, and vile.

Only need to bring up a supercut of Joe Biden sniffing women's/girl's hair, making weird comments, touching people without consent.  Did you see the latest episode in Finland where Joe was literally pretending to EAT a baby? What don't you understand about the fact that Biden was addressing Trump's stance on a public issue. Biden's speech had nothing to do with a personal attack on Trump or anyone else.

Yet, the raison d'être of these Republican 'ad hominem' attacks is to whitewash criminal defendant Trump.

 

I suggest that Republicans are unable to reasonably discuss any meaningful political issue and can only resort to cultural wars and character assassination in an effort to whitewash Trump and to remain relevant.
