webfact Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 A brilliant idea has gone viral online, as TikTok user @pimmyrich shared a clip showcasing a fascinating innovation - a turntable that helps with parking even in tight spaces, making parking troubles a thing of the past. In the video, a young woman can be seen driving her car into a parking spot with the car platform. Once parked, she turns the car towards the wall, and then a man activates the platform, smoothly turning the car to face outward effortlessly. This innovation promises to be a game-changer for those struggling with parking challenges. It not only saves space but also makes parking more convenient and efficient. With creative solutions like this, navigating busy city streets and parking lots could soon become a breeze. Kudos to the brilliant minds behind this 'auto-turn' car platform! @pimmyrich แท่นกลับรถอัตโนมือ อย่างเฟี้ยว ???? #รถ #ที่กลับรถ #คนไทยเป็นคนตลก #fyp ♬ รำตึงๆ - Djpaoremix -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-07-28 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. ezzra Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 I could have suggested lifting the car and parking it using a helicopter but I'm not a Tik-Toker.
ChrisY1 Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Not really meant for the road, but these devices are common in carparks or garages....they're usually electric

Very true it means that every car needs a width longer than a car length to be able to park nose/tail in, therefore useless in a car park as you indicate. Could be very useful though in private parking with limited maneuvering space, where you can drive straight in and turn the car to face out to the road. Reversing out onto a road is significant source of mishaps. 2

CanadaSam Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Seems to me this "incredible" device takes up approx. THREE parking spaces, to park one car!!!
Confuscious Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Now I understand why they print on car batteries to not drink the battery fluid ... Thank you Tik-Tok for showing us that human knowledge is really going backwards.

They are called car turntables. There are many companies producing them. I don't know why they are presented as something new and an invention. Usually they are motorized. 1
sirineou Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 A vertically tilting platform would be far more efficient. Not only would it save on space, but all loose change that have fallen between the seats would roll to the back to be conveniently collected later.????
