Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew has tasked officials with inspecting all fireworks shops on the island, following a devastating explosion in the south of the country. Twelve people died in an explosion and fire at a fireworks warehouse in Narathiwat province on Saturday, July 29.

But Phuket officials have often reminded locals and tourists that purchasing and letting off fireworks are illegal anyway…

“Phuket officials have issued another reminder that setting off fireworks or setting alight sky lanterns in public areas, namely beaches, remains illegal and is punishable by fines, or worse.” – The Phuket News

Did you notice the Crocks as well?

Tut tut. Yes. Wearing such footwear will prevent the discharge of static electricity increasing the risk of a spark when the lady touches anything. Like a firework for example. ????
