I live on Jomtien beach Rd. There are eight Family Marts on Beach Rd. within 1km of my building, 2 within 100 meters.  Makes it impossible to direct guests by saying: "Look for the Family Mart."

7-11 has been aggressively building much larger stores around Jomtien & Pattaya.

Going to be a LOT of vacant storefronts.

Thanks - I did search the forum for "Family Mart" but didn't find it - perhaps the Mods would like to close this one?

Is there anything healthy in any of these places...?

Sugar overload drinks, toxic Thai booze, sodium overload at every turn....and that frink' door chime at 7...beee booo...beee boo

...and people paying 5 kinds of bills in front in the queue.

Yes, lots, water, fruit juices, milk, apples. bananas, oranges, salad, tea, coffee, bread, cold meats, rice, for a kick off.

No one is forcing you to patronise them if you don't want to, so why are you so bothered about their stock that is of no consequence, whatsoever, to you?
