Bidding farewell to Thailand, the iconic “Family Mart” convenience stores is being fully rebranded as “Tops Daily” after over three decades of service.

Central Retail Corporation PLC (CRC) has made the decision to fully transform and rename its iconic Family Mart convenience stores to Tops Daily by the end of this year.

This strategic move comes as CRC’s contract for the Family Mart franchise in Thailand is set to expire in 2023. The rebranding aims to align and streamline CRC’s convenience store business under the Tops Daily banner, CRC’s chief operating officer, Maytinee Phisutsinthop stated.

As part of this transformation, Central Retail has begun gradually rebranding and changing the store signage from “Family Mart” to “Tops Daily.”

please stock a quality mayonaise - either Hellmanns or Kraft

the local stuff is a horrible sugar filled mess

Agreed homemade is better and only takes 5 minutes with ingredients you already have at home.

Make your own, quite easy and much better than any store bought mayo, including the imported varieties.

I do the same and you must have the stick blender because without it using a hand whisk it will not emulsify . BTW what is your recipe ( thanks for the pics , very good )

OK, in a jar with the neck just wide enough for the stick blender to go into (I use a coffee jar), one whole egg (white and yolk), one grated clove of garlic, one teaspoon of Dijon mustard, a tablespoon of lemon or lime juice, and 250ml of oil (I use Canola).   Keep the blender flush to the bottom of the jar until you can see mayo starting to form, then wiggle it around in the jar until you get the consistency you want.   I then add a pinch of salt.    This gives you the basic mayo, then you can play tunes with the ingredients/quantities according to taste.   Once made, the mayo is good for about two weeks in the fridge, which is probably as long as a batch lasts me, great for egg mayo sandwiches, coleslaw, BLT's etc.   Use olive oil and more garlic for an alioli.

Thanks for the recipe and mine is the same and but most of the time I prefer to use olive oil . Also it can be modified to make a Heinz type salad cream

not sure about using raw egg without some sort of treatment, also - isn't there vinegar in mayo ? perhaps as a preservative and sanitizer

I make it by hand. It works but you have to be very careful not to add too much oil in the beginning, so it is time consuming and labor intensive. But I haven't been able to find a good immersion blender yet.
