Popular Post Social Media
Former President Trump blasted President Biden’s response to the Maui wildfires as “disgraceful” in a video message posted Monday evening. “When asked about it today, as he was getting into a car, perhaps coming home from the beach, where he has been spending a great deal of time, Crooked Joe Biden, the most incompetent president in the history of our country, with a laugh and a smile said he had no comment on the death and the tragedy,” Trump said in a video message. “To say no comment is oftentimes fine, but to be smiling when you say it, especially again such a tragedy as this, is absolutely horrible and unacceptable,” he continued. “It is a disgraceful thing that Joe Biden refuses to help or comment on the tragedy in Maui, just as he refused to help or comment on the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio for a very, very long time.” The White House faced criticism Monday over Biden being on vacation and offering a “no comment” this weekend during the devastating fires in Maui — which have caused nearly 100 deaths so far. The White House pushed back on the criticism on Monday, with press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre pointing to Biden’s interactions with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as evidence of him responding to the wildfires. Popular Post bamnutsak
Sleepy Joe needs to get his paper-towel throwing arm in shape. AFAIK, POTUS responded last week within an hour or so offering any/all necessary assistance. Local Hawaii officials have expressed their appreciation for all that Biden has been able to muster. I need to see the videotape of the question and answer, and understand the context, before I can dial up my outrage. Were several people yelling questions at the same time? From August 9, 2023 Statement from President Joe Biden on the Wildfires in Hawaii Jill and I send our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost loved ones in the wildfires in Maui, and our prayers are with those who have seen their homes, businesses, and communities destroyed. We are grateful to the brave firefighters and first responders who continue to run toward danger, putting themselves in harm’s way to save lives. I have ordered all available Federal assets on the Islands to help with response. The Hawaiian National Guard has mobilized Chinook Helicopters to help with fire suppression and search and rescue on the Island of Maui. The U.S. Coast Guard and Navy Third Fleets are supporting response and rescue efforts. The Army is providing Black Hawk Helicopters to fight the fires on the Big Island. The Department of Transportation is working with commercial airlines to evacuate tourists from Maui, and the Department of the Interior and the United States Department of Agriculture stand ready to support post fire recovery efforts. I urge all residents to continue to follow evacuation orders, listen to the instructions of first responders and officials, and stay alert. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2023/08/09/statement-from-president-joe-biden-on-the-wildfires-in-hawaii/ 2 1 4 5

Just read the garbage he puts out on truth social. And before he opened his big mouth, maybe he should have considered his own “stellar performance” (sarcasm alert) in handling the covid crisis, which most likely caused hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths. 3 2 1 2

jcmj
Of course he loves to bring up the blame game, but bringing up Covid and how it was handled is a far stretch. We’re still waiting to see the outcome of all those so called “vaccines “ that are being well hidden from the mainstream media. I’m sure there will be lawsuit commercials galore in the next few years. I guess we’ll just keep playing the tit for tat games in the meantime till we get a decent president that isn’t knocking on deaths door. 2 1

stevenl
If there hadn't been the earlier statement and the already promised assistance he would have a point. But even then he is not the one to throw the first stone looking at his own disaster assistance.

"Writing on Twitter, NBC News reporter Ben Collins said the Maui fires were “a good example of how conspiracy culture cannot and should not be reasoned with”. “There will be no come-to-Jesus moment on climate change or severe weather,” he said. “There will just be more people claiming Oprah or Biden used a direct energy weapon. That’s our future.”" 2
Popular Post neeray
Trumpo is too stupid to just keep his mouth shut. Yes. I know that that is very difficult for him. Had he not been so stupid, he would have realized that by knocking Biden's swift, excellent and adequate response to Hawaii, he would be opening the door to be faulted for his grossly inadequate response to the Porta Rico hurricane disaster. 2 1
