anyone else get the feeling when hanging out with thais that they are constantly watching us to see if we do anything that is considered a cultural faux pas?

 

I get that feeling regularly, especially when socializing with thai males, its like they are waiting for us to slip up and make a scene so that they have something to gossip about with their buddies.

 

Anyone else get the feeling they are always watching you?

Never. And is usually Thai males that I hang out drinking with in the village. They are usually just drink and having fun...and making more Thai cultural faux pas thank I could ever do lol.

For the most part I have always found them to be very understanding of my potential ignorance to their cultural ways.
