How to add Ethereum from an offline paper wallet to an online wallet?

Featured Replies

I need to make a small $30 purchase using Ethereum.  I have the destination address of course.

I have some Ethereum in an offline cold paper wallet (ie - the public, private keys and JSON file data is stored in a text file on my computer).  So I need to add that Ethereum to some online wallet so that I can make the transaction.

I installed the MEW (myethereumwallet) Edge extension, but I can't fathom out the process to add my Ethereum to this wallet.  Can anyone help me?  Perhaps I need to install a different crypto wallet?  Thanks!

Is it worth it for $30. Use your C Card or bank transfer, and then transfer the Ethh to yourself.

Yes it is worth it because I will want to make further transactions in the future.  I transferred my various cryptos to offline text file storage some years ago and now I've forgotten how to transfer them back again to a 'live' wallet!

^^ Thanks - that worked fine! I only have a small amount of ETH, so no worries!

I struggled the same way you guys were, which was very unpleasant and bumped into the same wall many times like you.))

I found an app dealing with all that manages my wallets. It's 100% worth it. You can check them out on this link here: https://eth-bundler.com/ for more details))))
