Pattaya — A bar & restaurant venue on Pattaya Third Road fell victim to the same thief twice in August after losing over one million baht worth of valuables in the first break-in.

The second break-in against the Bali Lounge Bar & Restaurant took place at 6 PM Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023. Mr. Worawut, 32, an eyewitness to the incident, told The Pattaya News that he heard strange noises coming from the venue before noticing a suspicious-looking man inside.

Intrigued, Mr. Worawut, who asked to keep his full name confidential, approached the man and asked what he was doing. The man in question replied that he had come to clean the air conditioner at the venue. However, luckily Mr. Worawut remained skeptical about the man’s suspicious demeanor, so he decided to contact the venue owner and thereafter called the police.

No tools, no van outside?

Mr. Worawut you are a very rare species in Thailand. There could be murder and mayhem in the next room, but Thais do not want to get involved. Well done sir.
