Such ideas you advocate work both ways. Farangs in Thailand have no power to change anything. Popular Post BarraMarra Posted August 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 28, 2023 This is how Muslim Radicalization begins in Schools, Once they are allowed to wear the headress the parents then begin demanding they alter School Dinners remove pork dishes, and then demand Muslim-only teachers You can forget going to watch your kids Christmas Nativity plays cos they are banned. If you turn up and try to call for a meeting you're accused of racial discrimination. I'm with Prakhonchai on this one if you are unwilling to wear traditional School Uniforms for all, School them at home. 2 2 2 3

Popular Post Sigmund Posted August 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 28, 2023 Hard to get everybody agree. Some people hate muslims. Some people hate jews. Some people hate christians. Others hate farangs. Hate is never the solution. Saying "they started it first" is not really constructive to live in peace. 4

I don't think Amish clothing is much of a concern in France... From the BBC source article: Quote It has been updating the law over the years to reflect its changing population, which now includes the Muslim headscarf and Jewish kippa, but abayas have not been banned outright. Also, religion is not a race. People are far too quick to pull out the race card. 1 1

The Bible, the Coran, the Torah and so on, have never advocated for hate in their texts. 2 1

A primary school infuriated parents after cancelling the traditional Christmas nativity play to make way for the Muslim festival of Eid. Parents at the Nottingham school were told that the planned performance had to be pulled because some of the pupils wanted to celebrate Eid at home with their families. In a letter, sent by the staff at Greenwood Junior School, mothers and fathers were told: 'It is with much regret that we have had to cancel this year's Christmas performances. 1 1
prakhonchai nick Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Ones religious belief, if they have one, is -or should be, a purely private matter (sadly in most cases hoisted upon one at birth). It should be kept that way. PRIVATE. Not open for all to see. Do what/wear what you like in private, but conform to accepted norms in public. 1 1

That is a story from 2008 and the play was cancelled until the New Year and it wasn't banned . The claim was that Nativity plays were banned in Schools and your story from 15 years ago is just one play being delayed for a few weeks https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1091594/Primary-school-cancels-nativity-play-interferes-Muslim-festival-Eid.html

observer90210 Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 A brave choice from France. Hope it does not lead to French flags, French sybols getting burned or vandalised or bibles getting burnt in anti french riots. Reminds us of the other extreme right wing freaks burning Qurans in Sweden or Danemark, who are no better. 2

I am not going to start page after page of incidents but it happens especially in Yorkshire and other areas of high Muslim communities. The excuse is the usual it is because photos or Videos are taken, In reality, it is the fear of upsetting non-Christian pupils.
