You have a defacto partnership and not a registered marriage.  You would need to register your foriegn marriage with the local amphur office which requires legalization via your home country Embassy and Thai Ministry of foriegn affairs.  But without a marriage certificate you can do none of that.

If officially married, it is a bit complicated, but possible. Without a marriage certificate, a dependant visa/extension is totally impossible.

An independent retirement visa (her own bank account with 800k deposit) is the only obvious solution. As ever, an agent might be able to suggest other options.

It seems a couple of mongers are struggling with the idea that not everyone bin's their partner in lieu of banging prostitutes....:whistling:

Exactly as DrJack54 wrote - the provision more info will yield better advice.

i.e. is your Partner planning on living in Thailand full time or visiting for a few months at a time etc.

So, In facto de facto not your wife really

She is not his wife de jure, by law. So she actually is his de facto wife.

The first question should be if his wife is Thai. If she is she could use her Thai passport and wouldn't need any visa at all.

Can we not just work on the premise that the Op isn't gallactically stupid and the fact that he is discussing visa options for his 'Partner' is clear indication that she is not Thai ?
