There’s a new type of retiree called the “flaming retiree”.

Will we have to do,  that flaming dance soon with the rolled up news paper.

Like those naughty sailors used to in Singapore

Just to get a new 12 months extension.

There is a gay centre in Manchester UK, one of the streets is named Canal Street and some witty wag has erased the 'C' from Canal and the S from Street making...

Certainly no shortage of those in that area.

Next announcement will be about increased health insurance requirements for LGBTQ retirees because of added STD risks. Followed by a general increase in the financial requirements for retirees to 1.2 million Baht as a performance bond frozen in a Thai bank account (earning only 1.5% interest and subject to a 15% withholding tax).

He further noted that the country is already recognised for its LGBTQ+ tourism, parties and nightlife entertainment.

But not marriage?

Funny that more people are flooding into Florida than other states, whilst all places like San Fran, Chicago NY etc - dem states - are losing people and revenue and going bust. San Fran now is just a hell hole.

I do nor see Desantis as anti-gay - I fully support a ban on gay pornographic books in schools.

But, no ban on straight pornographic books;  apparently still ok in the schools.  Seems anti-gay--both you and DeSantis.

"there is a need for more healthcare specialists and clinics focusing on HIV and STDs" said Dr Chaiwat. So Dr. Chaiwat is admitting that they gays they want to attract are especially infected with HIV and STDs. It's all about money with the Thais, nothing else matters to them.

Do gays also have higher rates of monkey pox?

From this site:

Dr Tharet Krasanairawiwong, Director of the Department of Disease Control, reported yesterday that the majority of the Monkeypox patients are men who have sexual intercourse with other men,

Thailand’s potential to expand its ‘pink economy’ through the attraction of international LGBTQ+ retirees was the highlight of a recent conference held in Bangkok.

I don't know whether I find this disturbing, stupid or just another remarkable piece of junk thinking these people come up with?

I agree that the bible shouldn't be in schools. It has gay sex, incest, masturbation and more.

So does the World Wide Web! Should that also be banned?

Exactly what I was thinking and are they expecting an influx of HIV + gay people with a good sprinking of STDs. for good measure?

This has nothing to do with GAY people and everything to do with PEOPLE full stop.

They do come up with some ill conceived ideas without thinking them through.

I think gay people would find this touristic gem of an idea that they have come up with, downright insulting

You'd be wrong.

Being explicitly welcomed is definitely appreciated!

Does this mean visas will be easier to obtain if we wear dresses and lipstick to immigration and adopt the mannerisms of Julian Clary?

Thailand has always been gay friendly so what's the point now?

You'd have to ask them but more advanced countries have long recognized the value of LGBTQ tourism so it makes sense to expand outreach to expats.

Yes it is about money
