Featured Replies

What happens if I do not reapply for extension of visa for one year ?

will the officer need to come to my home to check and do a interview like the first year again on the following year?

thanks

If you do not apply for extension you would need to exit Thailand prior to expiry of your permission of stay.

You would need to start over with new non O and annual extension.

Why would you not obtain an extension?

Thinking of going back home for a period?

Home visits for marriage extensions are done every year by Jomtien immigration

If you don't get an extension for one year while you are in Thailand, you will most likely be arrested, fined, and deported.

If you don't get an extension for one year if you are not in Thailand, you will start the process all over again when you return.

Plus a 5 year ban from entering Thailand.

It is a very simple answer. You can't stay in Thailand after the expiration date, you must exit.

If you don't apply they won't come, but eventually they will turn up and you will be arrested, put in jail, fined, sent back to your country, at your expense, and banned for five years.

Trat is also home visit every year. Do you not read the news?

Why would you even consider staying here without a visa?

are you wanted in your home country?

Or is the OP believing that after issue it just automatically repeats without any further paperwork? Heard of this before.
