Popular Post webfact Posted September 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2023 Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, yesterday expressed his firm belief in Chada Thaiset, his deputy, to successfully combat mafia-style gangs and diminish their influence on local administrative organisations across Thailand. The 56 year old deputy PM entrusted Thaiset with a nationwide mission last week to scrutinise all influential local leaders suspected of affiliations with mafia-like gangs and blacklist them if any connections were discovered to eradicate mafia influence in the nation. This assignment was a reaction to a violent incident that occurred at a dinner party at the residence of a prominent local leader in Nakhon Pathom’s Mueang district late last week. The incident involved the shooting of a highway patrol officer, resulting in his death, and injury to another. This event sparked nationwide interest and ignited a fresh discussion about corruption and mafia influence in public services. When questioned about setting a deadline for Thaiset to complete this mission, Anutin stated it would be unnecessary, given that corruption is a persistent issue that demands continuous supervision from all involved parties. by Mitch Connor Anutin Charnvirakul. Popular Post spidermike007 Posted September 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2023 Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul. Huh? Are they serious? This incompetent is not only still around, but is now the holder of these two posts? Now we know for certain Thailand is doomed. He was such a failure at health minister, they promoted him? The irony of this army crony promising to root out corruption. I remember vividly when Cha Cha made that same promise 9 long years ago. He did no such thing. If anything, it only got worse. Such goons. Such liars. Such actors. Give him an acting award. 9 1 1 6 3

NemoH Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 According to my Godfather crystal ball - It’s an old tactic.. eradicating triads or mafia means - uniting all to pledge loyalty to the very same people who wants to ‘e’ them ????????????.. it’s big big Money n big time power base development ???????????? 1

If there is a need to bring them into line again then the right person is here to do that. That this guy is even saying such a thing makes me believe such a move is already underway. 1 2 5
bamnutsak Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Well, given that "Bangkok Traffic" was assigned and said to be solved by 2022, it's not too much to expect that mafia-style gangs - which are literally part of the Thai social fabric - will be eradicated. You could make a point that the entire Thai social pyramid is built on the mafia and corruption. And that most of the power and authority rests with corrupt organizations. There is no shame on senior politicos like Anutin who proclaims this sort of gibberish with a straight face. 1 1
Popular Post Cabradelmar Posted September 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2023 Start with the RTP. And then stop giving Chinese visa free entry. 2 1 2 3

thailand49 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 If you root it out who is going to be around.???? He is right can't set a deadline " persistent " is being kind. Setting a deadline puts him out of a job. 1
Popular Post Zack61 Posted September 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2023 In the old west they say the best lawmen were ex-crims but I think in this case that may be a bit of a stretch. How the f*** does this guy keep popping up where you’d least expect. A classic square peg in a round hole every time he squirms his way into government. 1 2
Popular Post geisha Posted September 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2023 I can hardly believe it ! Anutin and now Chada , who is possibly one of the most dangerous to ever be in Thai Politics ! Chada’s background and inheritance speaks volumes . He is up there on the list of most corrupt politicians in the world . To complete the picture , how about Thammanat as chief of Police ? 1 2
