Popular Post webfact
Pattaya — The tourist police led by Pol. Lt. Gen. Sukhun Prommayon launched a crime-deterrence operation on Wednesday evening, September 27th, to establish trust among tourists, with a special focus on Chinese and Kazakh visitors who have recently come to Pattaya through the visa waiver program. Tourist Police Division commander Pol Lt Gen Sukhun dispatched a large police squad at 4:30 PM yesterday at Bali Hai Pier. The operation was launched to enhance security for tourists in Pattaya amid the government’s visa waiver program, which will run until February 29th, 2024. The program applies to Chinese and Kazakhstani tourists, allowing them to stay in the Kingdom for 30 days without applying for a visa ahead of time to boost tourism. klauskunkel
I read the full article and found out that the "Crime Deterrence Operation" started at 4:30pm and basically was a tour of the city. That's it. After the tour was over the "Crime Augmentation Operation" resumed. 1
