A better option (for Hamas) would be to ignore the pleas, let Israel accept a unilateral 'humanitarian pause'.

No they won't. They can refer to ICC, who then have to make a full investigation and gather all facts.

If it was a country what is it's capital? It's a claimed state which incorporates other countries, so it's a fantasy country by muslim haters of Israel. When the PLO was set up in 1964 Israel only occupied Isreal, it only expended due to muslim aggression after that. There was no Palestine in 1964, there is not one now.
