Well why did the Palestinian s in Gaza vote them into goverment

why does he not give up hamas

Gaza is historically very different from West Bank Palestine. Gazan culture has an affinity with Egypt, having been controlled by Egypt for decades.

So, Gaza does not want control from the Palestinian Authority.

This is Ismail Haniyeh, a sharp suited man with an estimate personal fortune of $4 Billion. He lives in luxury in Qatar. He is the leader of Hamas, and while many Palestinians in Gaza are living in poverty under his brutal regime, he is telling them to remain in a war zone and not evacuate to safety. What an utterly disingenuous despot.

"'Forward' he cried from the rear

Wonder what Roger Waters makes of that.

"Today is devastating for all those seeking a lasting peace and respect for human rights in Israel and Palestine. I condemn Hamas’ attack in the strongest possible terms. No child and family should ever endure this kind of violence and fear, and this violence will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation in the region. An immediate ceasefire and de-escalation is urgently needed to save lives.”

Not accurate. You keep pushing this for some unclear reason. There are supporters of Fatah in the Gaza Strip as well. There are supporters of Hamas in the West Bank.

What 'affinity' you're on about is mostly something of the past, and would anyway apply to original Palestinian residents of the Strip. The demographics changes significantly with refugee influx.

thats nothing new  but i would assume he knows where  Hamas is in gaza if not very poor leader

Why would he know this? Hamas doesn't share information like this with him. And if he knows it, it's a safe bet Israel does as well. I don't think Israel needs a whole lot of tactical intel from Abbas, when it comes to Gaza Strip.

Israel worries Hamas leadership will use this as cover to escape.

Egypt doesn't want to seem as treating foreigners better than Palestinians. They are probably also worried that opening the pass for this will result in a mass stampede.

Not sure why my question gets referenced to Egypt alone. Surely Israel ( IDF ) can reasonably safely distinguish between Palestinians and foreigners who seek exit from Gaza at the Israeli / Gaza border?

While Hamas can be legitimately blamed for creating this current outcome it is Israel that risks resentment by other nations if they ignore the plight of uninvolved foreign nationals kept trapped between a rock and a hard place .

How would they be able to easily distinguish foreigners?

How could they safely even define foreigner?

Hamas has been actively blocking the Raffa border crossing.

Yes, I saw on Al Jazeera the Israeli tanks burning and the crews being dragged away. Many Israelis are hostages.

Cutting electricity to all of Gaza is collective punishment and is IMO illegal under international law, but Israel has been flouting that for decades with it's illegal occupation and land theft.

I fully expect Israel to indiscriminately bomb Gaza with the usual toll of dead children and innocent citizens.

Somewhat false humanitarian move. The damage to water pipes is one thing but without electricity  to power pumps .....?

Was naive to think that IDF is capable of doing anything humane. It turns out they only talking about allowing water in south of Gaza (not to the northern part) to entice people to go there in accordance with their war crime attempt to mass enforce civilians to relocate so it would be easier to push them across the border to neighbouring Egypt. And yes you are right, without electricity, this is a worthless cunning move.

Why are the Palestinians having to beg Israel for free water and electricity? Why have they not built their own desalinization and power generating plants?
