Pattaya — At 10:30 PM, on October 6th, 2023, officers from the Pattaya Police Station, Pattaya tourist police and relevant officers with more than 50 officers in total performed a field inspection on Pattaya Beach, searching for illegal objects and maintaining order.

The officers were assigned into groups to maintain order and search for illegal objects such as guns and illicit substances in the Pattaya Beach area and on the street nearby.

 

The primary target group was teenagers because it is currently a school vacation period. Many youngsters had gathered at Pattaya Beach drinking alcohol and socializing.

Looks like there going to keep doing the beach patrol thing every month or so on an irregular basis or whenever there's a mass shooting by a Thai teen.

If under 18 told to go home  at 10.30pm.

If when I was say 16 my dad told me to be home at 10.30pm, I would just have laughed at him, so what chance do you think the police would have had?

I had to be at work for 7.30am at age 15. by sixteen I had brought myself a M/C. dam sure this lot don't work.

I've got a hint for you. Try Jomtien Beach early in the morning.

Check out those foreign tourists illegally removing grains of imported sand hidden on the soles of their flip-flops.

With a mob of 50 officers, I would guess they could only check on one cluster of folks on the beach.  All the rest would flee when they saw that down the beach.

There's always someone up to something in Pattaya. Goes with the territory.
