This move comes amidst the ongoing international conflicts and is aimed at bolstering national security and public safety, reported INN. Lieutenant General Surachate has directed law enforcement agencies to closely monitor the movements and activities of people from Lebanon, Iran, and Palestine. This enhanced scrutiny is a preventive measure to ensure that internal security is not compromised, amidst the volatile international scenario. Surachate emphasizes the need for increased vigilance without instigating panic or unrest, assuring that there has been no report of violence within Thai borders. The police are coordinating closely with international security agencies to gather intelligence and ensure that potential security threats are mitigated effectively. Thailand continues to uphold its stance of neutrality and aims to maintain a peaceful atmosphere within the nation. The authorities are also focusing on safeguarding the Israeli and Palestinian communities in Thailand, ensuring that the international conflicts do not spill over into Thai territory. The existing security measures have instilled confidence among the foreign embassies, affirming their trust in the Thai police's capabilities to ensure safety and security for all. -- ASEAN NOW 2023-10-10 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. impulse Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 I know it's wishful thinking, but at the very least, I hope they have facial recognition technology that can match faces from the horrendous Hamas photos and videos, and catch any of them trying to enter Thailand. I'm forecasting a massive grass roots interweb effort to go through those photos and vids to publish those faces. One of the things the interweb was just made for... 1 1

Dogmatix Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 Tosakit is a rather pathetic attempt to translate the name of police chiefTorsak Sukvimol. I don't know how they got that from ต่อศักดิ์ which has a silent mark over the "di" at the end which would be Torsakdi, if it didn't. Some Thais just write down the first thing that comes into their heads when they transliterate names of other Thais without regard for how the name is pronounced or how the owner spells it in English themselves. 1 1
Popular Post Dogmatix Posted October 10, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 10, 2023 The surveillance of foreigners is well founded because, if you get murdered by a foreigner, the murderer's parents will not attend your funeral and grovel on the floor at your loved one's feet, begging for forgiveness and holding out a bag of money. 1 1 4
